Volume I, No. 3 - September 2003

EDITOR’S NOTES

Giant Apologies!

My apologies to any member who received their June issue of the Giant Hotline in less than pristine condition! Your editor wasn’t experienced enough to know that the issue was too fat to be mailed folded, secured with only one piece of tape. I’ll try not to let that happen again.

For future reference, if for any reason you either don’t receive your copy of The Hotline, or your copy is damaged by the post office (or perhaps your Giant Schnauzer?) please contact me. I’ll send a replacement copy as soon as possible.

You may be wondering, “How will I know I haven’t received my issue?” Since The Hotline is quarterly, it should appear in your mail box the first week of October, January, April and July at the latest. If it doesn’t, I expect to hear from you.

Decals Available!

The official decals for the South Central Giant Schnauzer Club have arrived and they look great. A Giant Thank You to Matt Smith for his help in this endeavor!

One decal will be provided free to each member. Additional decals can be purchased from The Information Office at $2 apiece. If you haven’t already received your free decal, they will be enclosed in this newsletter.

Raffle Drawing in Waco!

Make plans now to be in Waco, Texas November 21st through the 23rd. If for some reason you can’t attend, remember to order raffle tickets for that gorgeous, 52” x 72” woven Giant Throw. We saw it first hanging on a wall behind a vendor’s booth at the National Specialty in Harrisburg, PA and it took our collective breath away. Every penny of the proceeds from this raffle will be used to help defray the club’s start-up costs.
