The April 2003 issue of the AKC GAZETTE (page 8) asked owners of Miniature and Toy Poodles, Marstiffs and Giant Schnauzers to take part in Grant 2104 “Defining Inheritance of Idiopathic Epilepsy in the Poodle, Giant Schnauzer and Mastiff” at the University of California, Davis.

The grant is funded by the American Kennel Club and the Canine Health Foundation. Sponsors of the study include the Poodle Club of America Foundation, Mastiff Club of America, and our breed’s own Peter and Mary Edwards Hayes.
